Exceptional property and even more exceptional hostess/owner

It is a remarkable view and site! Bonnie, the owner/hostess is just outstanding in working with guests in every capacity. She makes thoughtful recommendations on things to do as well as demonstrates flexibility with reservations when medical emergencies arise...This lovely lady responds promptly to emails and questions....You do not get this type of service when going through VRBO or other reservation sites. Unique “tree house”

Many windows so lot of light and views in living area and especially in master bedroom! Very comfortable beds. Lots of linens. Wonderful balconies and outdoor seating table and chairs w fire pit.
House has atmosphere and charming character! Plenty of seating in living area. Bonnie is exceptional as a landlord.

Well appointed, private and convenient

House has everything you need and the decks worked great for containing our dogs but letting us all relax outside together. Very convenient to Bar Harbor, Acadia entrance and rest of Mount Desert Island.

Peaceful slice of heaven.

The property is wooded and secluded but with quick and easy access to Route 3. Everyone in our group had a private bath. The interior was clean and we'll-maintained. The exterior wrap-around decks were a bonus. We were in need of nothing,! VERY pleased with our stay.

Cliffside: Our Maine Happy Place

The house was everything we hoped it would be! We've traveled to the Bar Harbor area 15 times over the last 25 years, but were never able to stay on Mt. Desert Island. So, we loved being close to Acadia National Park and Bar Harbor to go back and forth as we pleased, with a short drive "home" to peaceful surroundings. The home was clean, and furnishings inside were comfortable. The homeowner's notes were very helpful, and she responded right away if we had questions. The big kitchen was stocked better than any resort we have stayed in, and sure made it easy to prepare meals. We loved the outdoor deck space - enjoyed coffee in the morning, used the grill, watched stars at night. The view and privacy of the small deck off the master bedroom was amazing! Thanks, Bonnie, for allowing us to call Cliffside our home for a week!
